I am so excited to share this little blog from an event I photographed for my sweet friends at The Busy Bee. Not only are they wedding and event planners, they’ve created the cutest hosting boxes for their party supplies. How best to use those items than at a Dinner Party Project hosted by West Elm Orlando?!? Chef Maria Ruiz-Castaneda Rivera created an awesome Moroccan inspired dinner for all 10 guests and it was magical!!
I love each one of my photo shoots for so many different reasons. This one in particular might be one of my favorites. See, when one of your oldest friends calls you to tell you he’s met THE ONE and needs your help proposing, you move heaven and earth to be a part of their story. A big thank you to the sweet staff of Loews Don Cesar in St. Petersburg for helping us create this sweet proposal.
I met Nick in middle school, when we both had chubby cheeks, braces and glasses. Both of us, almost 20 years later still have horrible vision, but have still remained friends through all these years.
I am thankful to have been a part of watching him grow up from this geeky (sorry, not sorry) little kid, to one of my closest guy friends to a handsome man who now has a precious woman by his side. Hayley, you are getting one loyal friend and husband. He will always be your biggest cheerleader and will walk through life adoring you for who you are. Hayley, I’ve prayed for my friends to find wives as kind and precious as you. You are the answer to so many prayers- even when Nick was 16, stubborn and would cheat off my homework sometimes when he forgot to do it the night before.
So excited to have been here for this sweet moment in the beginning of your lives together!
